Aspect Consulting, Inc is seeking a Sr. Navision System Analyst for a Contact to Hire Opportunity located in Holtsville, NY

Senior level business systems analyst with both functional and technical development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) ERP. This position will play a lead role in implementing new features, functionality and improving the core business processes and systems.

Essential Job Functions

  • Analyzing, recommending and improving the company’s Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain business processes.
  • Work closely with business leads to capture requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and create functional specifications for NAV configuration and enhancements.
  • Technical design and development of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and workflows.
  • Perform development of NAV2013 modifications, perform unit, systems integration, user testing and promotion of modification into Production
  • Assist business leads in defining test plans and test scripts to be used in IT and business user testing.
  • Perform application support for all native NAV2013/Topaz modified code and master/transactional data as required. 
  • Provide technical support for existing Navision NAV2013 system by troubleshooting user issues and managing system configuration, report development and enhancement requests.
  • Perform NAV Server and MS SQL Server administration.

Required Skills/ Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in all areas of wholesale distribution business processes: Product Lifecycle Management, Procurement, Distribution, Sales and Finance.

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related industry/experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics – NAV versions 2013,2015,2016, preferably certified.
  • Minimum 3-5 years C/AL and C/Side development experience with Microsoft Dynamics - NAV, preferably certified. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years reporting experience utilizing SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, preferably certified.

Aspect Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Microstrategy Analyst for a Direct Hire Opportunity located in Washington DC.

The Microstrategy Analyst oversees the implementation of the reporting initiatives by the Office of the University Registrar. The incumbent guides the development of reporting solutions by strategically implementing projects, assessing training needs, and researching and proposing solutions to business problems. Through collaboration with OIT, OUR units, and academic units, the Business Intelligence Analyst supports the implementation of best practices in project prioritization, data governance, data stewardship, data quality management, and end-user engagement.

Work Environment

  • The Business Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Assistant Registrar for Student Information Systems and Analytics, and works closely with the Systems Analyst and Business Analyst
  • They assist OUR senior management in providing analysis, guidance, and documentation support on all student related BI reporting and analytics to the functional units within the OUR, and interacts regularly with OIT, academic and administrative units across the university
  • The Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to work collaboratively with the University Registrar, Associate Registrar, Assistant Registrar, and OUR Staff

 Required Education and Experience

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent in training and experience
  • This position requires 5 years of related work experience
  • The incumbent must demonstrate an aptitude for database structure and develop expertise in the Ellucian Colleague Student module file structure and functionality, understanding core processes for student enrollment and other registrar business functions

The Microstrategy Architect will be responsible for analyzing and articulating complex system requirements and the subsequent development of reporting, analytical, and dashboard solutions for the Business intelligence (BI) platform spanning business domains across the university. They will contribute to project management activities, such as scoping, estimating, and planning, to ensure critical milestones are met with high quality deliverables. The individual will perform design, development, testing, validation, performance tuning and quality assurance activities for the individual business intelligence projects. They will manage interactions with campus partners across the university related to the Business Intelligence initiatives, including business need assessment, prioritization of activities, and change management. The individual will serve in an on call capacity to handle trouble shooting and other issues that arise when required.

Work Environment

  • This position will report directly to the Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence in the Enterprise Systems group and will be dealing directly with key senior leadership across different staff and academic units, focusing on student facing functions
  • The Business Intelligence Architect does not have responsibility for personnel management

 Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience/ training

Required Education and Experience
